Application Forms

On this page you can download the forms commonly used to make applications to the Court under

Look under the heading Type of application in the tables below to find the form that matches your needs. If you have any difficulty in judging which is the right form for your case, please contact the Court.

For each form you will find

The Court also has a variety of application forms for cases under the Small Landholders Acts, but as these are seldom used the forms have not been reproduced here. Details of any forms under the Small Landholders Acts can be obtained from the Principal Clerk.

Choosing a format

You may download the forms in either of two formats:

  1. Portable Document Format Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). If you download the PDF version of a form, you will have to print it out first, then fill it in by whatever means you find most convenient. To view and print PDF files, you will need a PDF reader, such as the Adobe Acrobat® reader. If you do not have the Acrobat reader, it is available free for a range of common operating systems from the Adobe web site. (Alternatively, if you are an X Windows user on UNIX, VMS, or OS/2, you might like Derek Noonburg’s free Xpdf PDF viewer.)
  2. Word Format Microsoft Word (MS Word). If you have the Microsoft Word word processing program, you might prefer to download the MS Word version of a form. This will allow you to open and fill in the form using your word processor, then print it out when complete.

The forms are typically three or four pages in length, and most are less than 100 Kbytes in size. If you are unable to download the form you need for any reason, please contact the Court.

Preparing and submitting forms

Please note:

  1. Although the MS Word versions allow for free editing in Word, you must attempt as far as possible to maintain the style and layout of the form.
  2. However you choose to complete your application, you must print and sign the forms, and post them to the Court’s offices. The Court cannot accept applications submitted by e-mail.

Refer to the Making an application page for more information about completing your application form.
